Artemis closes Positive Future fund
Artemis has decided to close its Positive Future fund after considering it no longer commercially viable, Portfolio Adviser has learned.
At the end of June, the strategy held £5.5m assets under management.
In a statement, an Artemis spokesperson said weak investment performance had impacted the fund’s ability gather sufficient assets.

According to FE Fundinfo data, the strategy is down 35.3% since launch in April 2021, while the average IA Global fund is up 30.2%.
The Positive Future Fund closes on 5 September and the current fund manager and head of impact equities Sacha El Khoury will remain part of the wider global equities team.
The firm said they will not fill the head of impact equities role following the closure of the fund.
“We remain committed to sustainable investing, largely through the engagement work of our four-strong stewardship team, who work alongside all our managers,” the spokesperson added.
The strategy was initially launched by former Kames Capital fund managers Craig Bonthron, Neil Goddin, Jonathan Parsons and Ryan Smith. The managers exited Artemis in March 2024, with El Khoury taking charge of the portfolio.
