AXA IM Appoints Jane Wadia as Head of Core Sustainable Product Strategy

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announced today the appointment of Jane Wadia as Head of Sustainability, Core Products & Clients, responsible for leading AXA IM Core’s sustainable product strategy and external representation.

The announcement marks the second recent sustainability-related appointment for AXA IM’s core investment platform, following the appointment in January of Thomas Coudert as Head of Sustainability, Core Investments. AXA IM’s Core investment strategies include its fixed income, equities and multi asset capabilities.

Wadia has been with AXA IM for over 20 years, most recently serving as Head of Investment Specialists & RFPs for AXA IM Core, with a focus on responsible investing. She joined the firm as a portfolio manager in 2003 and became Global Head of Client Portfolio Management in 2010.

In her new role, Wadia will be responsible for engaging with clients on sustainability topics, and working with teams across the firm ensuring that its investment capabilities reflect the responsible investing needs of clients, in addition to defining the responsible investing product framework, and shaping the Core business overall responsible investing priorities.

Wadia will report to Nicolas Deschamps, who has been appointed as Global Head of Product and Client Strategy at AXA IM Core.

Hans Stoter, Global Head of AXA IM Core and member of the AXA IM’s Management Board, said:

“With her extensive experience in asset management across all core asset classes, Jane is bringing a deep understanding of our clients needs, especially on RI. By working closely with our teams across AXA IM, I am confident that Nicolas and Jane will further our ambitions to deliver a strong range of RI products that will solidify AXA IM’s position as a leading responsible asset manager globally.”
