Osmosis adds first credit funds
Sustainable asset manager Osmosis Investment Management has introduced its first fixed income funds.
The Osmosis Global Credit UCITS fund and the Osmosis Global High Yield UCITS fund were launched on 2 July with €300m seed money from the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) of Australia.
They will be run by the team in the Osmosis’ newly established Netherlands office with Peter Kwaak as the lead portfolio manager of the global credit fund, and Patrick Bawlf lead on the high yield strategy. Both funds are available to UK investors.

Osmosis CEO Ben Dear (pictured) commented “Osmosis has seamlessly integrated two institutional-grade, actively managed investment funds with our hallmark approach: sustainable, cost efficient, and research driven investment solutions for investors navigating today’s complex and fast-evolving market environment.
“Our seasoned portfolio management team in the Netherlands applies a rigorous top-down and bottom-up investment framework, aiming to generate alpha by targeting financially resilient companies aligned with the transition to a more sustainable global economy.”
Victor Verberk, CEO and CIO of Osmosis Netherlands, said: “Partnering with the CSC Australia to manage our first fixed income portfolios marks an exciting milestone for Osmosis NL and reflects the culmination of months of intense preparation and hard work. We spent as much effort on the operational quality as on the investment quality of our services.
“Being fully operational and managing capital so soon after receiving AFM approval in April is a remarkable achievement. It’s a testament to the dedication of our team and the strong support of our institutional shareholders, which has allowed us to hit the ground running.”
